All of our designs are handmade by the women artisans in Palestine and Rwanda who are our partners, usually at their homes so they can be available to their families while they work. Made with heart and precision each piece brings positive change to the artisan who made it.
Hands Up Not Handouts fuses the worlds of sustainable business development and the luxury consumer market so that both may benefit from the unique offerings of the other. Our handmade embroidered and woven pieces are created using traditional handicraft techniques of developing communities in Rwanda and the West Bank of Palestine in new ways. By providing skills training and paying fair prices for product we provide the partners with the crucial income to build opportunity in their lives.
